Diet

All patients undergoing chemotherapy will have a consultation with the dietician during treatment. A focus on high protein foods is encouraged. There are no ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ during chemotherapy, what is recommended is mainly influenced by taste and smell.

Tip: Fruit tingles and chewing gum are handy to keep in your bag to help combat metallic taste.
